Microsoft,

This is the second time in less than a month your "support" team is kicking me off social on Xbox Live. I sent a message with one word that said trashy. I did this because the person was acting unsportsmanlike, killing and harassing teammates, and taunting
me after a fair match up in rainbow six. If I get blocked for just one minute more, I'm finished with Xbox and I will be moving to Sony and PlayStation. I have had my fill of being social blocked on Xbox live because of petty and unreasonable reports. I hope
you can understand and see where the error is and have it fixed.

Have you seen the "Enforcement United" programme too? Community moderators, whose reviews presumably carry more weight than your average member.

If someone harasses you online you can report that person or block him/her from further communication. Retaliating is a breach of the Code of Conduct and object to an enforcement act.

That being said Sony network has rules as well to uphold their gaming community. Keep in mind the Code of Conduct is there for your protection as well as that of other gamers.

It's my understanding that the Enforcement team does not follow this forum. May I recommend that you go to and sign in at the "Enforcement Team" webpage and see if you can file for a "Case Review".

You could as well ask if "normal people" can arrest other people and put them in jail.

The answer is no.

Normal people/xbox live players can report people to the police/Xbox Live Enforcement, and then there is an investigation.

If the police/Xbox Live Enforcement find that the reported person broke the law/Xbox Live Code of Conduct, the police/Xbox Live Enforcement will arrest/suspend the person that broke the rules.

So normal people can report, but not actually ban people. The banning is done by real people in the Xbox Live Enforcement team after reviewing evidence that is usually automatically sent in with the report.

Was it an in game ban or an Xbox Live account ban? If in game, then you will need to contact Activision, but if Xbox Live account ban, you should check on the Xbox enforcement website here https://support.xbox.com/help/family-online-safety/enforcement/enforcement-history
