    Hi when I was younger my mom made me use her email to make my account and its a Hotmail email. I know how to change the email address for my xbox live account but I don't know what will happen to her email when I do. I'd rather my mother not lose her email
    and all thats attached to it. Does anyone know what will happen to her email and if there's anyway to avoid something bad happening to it while still giving me full control of my account. Ps. I'm a 23 year old adult.

    Try login in with your old email and try to change it on the website or the Xbox because when someone change they email on their Xbox live account it take 3 days for the changes to show up
