Xbox live download and game starting up issues

ok why the hell is xbox not letting anyone know that there are issues with xbox live I had to go to a 3rd party to find out that it's not my xbox live is not working I can't download or start games right now and it's been happening for 24 hours now a heads
up would be nice your xbox like page say every thing is running fine but that is not the case we pay good money for it

I try and download annihilation map pack. As soon as I click confirm purchase it says cannot download from you current location. And then it ends up starting to download as soon as it gets to 99% . Says cannot download annihilation map pack. Australian
xbox and game but I live in america. Why won't it download

 

Download Xbox 360 games

You can easily download games from Xbox Live Games Marketplace. You can visit the Xbox Live Marketplace on your computer to find the games. If you are interested to download a game, you’ll have to add the game to your console’s download queue. The download will start automatically when your console connects to Xbox Live.

You can also download games from your console directly.

To do this, you must connect your console to Xbox LIVE by singing in to your profile.

• You need to go to Games and then select Marketplace.
• Select the game, add-on, or game demo that you want to download.
• Press Confirm Download.

Your download will start instantly.

 

my mate and I have the same problem, I 100% agree with you that a heads would be nice. any game or app i have tried launching 20 times and still doesn't work, always get " took to long to start". every time wether it's a game or app.

 

I have this problem too. I cant download updates or install games. I noticed it during the recent Overwatch update - when my console failed to download it. The console just says "Installing...", but no data is coming through. I thought it was maybe just
my console.

 

Yes same issue with me. About 30+ hours ago my xbox developed an issue where it was unable to update any games, download any games, and already installed games fail to start 85% of the time. My brother has another xbox in the same
household and is experiencing the same issue. Hard reset, deletion of local saves, and resetting wifi modem all failed to fix the problem. As of right now the issue is still ongoing
