    Xbox Live down!


    I just bought the master chief collection and as I started it up I got disconnected from Xbox Live. Please do not tell me to unplug and restart everything. That doesn't solve the issue! Please fix this before I ask for a ps4 for Christmas.

    Xbox Live has been going to absolute shit since November. Friends list down almost every single day.

    I'm just fed up with all of it to be honest. It's not like I have the free time I once had either. When I get on XBL it's down....

    Does this xbox live issue have anything to do with why I can't download the initial setup updates? I just purchased a brand new xbox one for Christmas and now the thing will not download the updates. The internet connection is good and I have restarted
    several times. I am a new xbox user and this issue is starting to make me question my choice to go with the xbox over the PS4.

    You would think they would be able to anticipate heavy server traffic on Christmas day! Very frustrating.

    Most of this is happening because of the limited release of the interview on Netflix and YouTube, a lot of traffic is just that.

    This has nothing to do with the interview. The self proclaimed hacker group LIZARD SQUAD, are attacking xbox live and pen with a does attack.

    I've been getting bounced off Live all night. Here's a link for the current XBox Live Service Status.

    It currently says:

    XBOX LIVE Service
    Users may experience difficulties with the following services:

    • Signing into Xbox LIVE from an Xbox console
    • Signing into Games for Windows – LIVE on a PC
    • Signing into Xbox LIVE from Xbox.com
    • Signing into the Xbox LIVE forums

    We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.

    Just one of those things we have to deal with while they roll out this update.
