xbox live down... whats new!

Actually xbone has been affected by the attacks, as well as the PSN. No one is safe from the ddos attacks and it's really annoying. I would like to hear what Microsoft and Sony plan to do about this issue, because it is beyond annoying now.

 

I would like to get conpensation about xbox live going down and I have told xbox live support team that I have seen on the internet that it is a group called lizard squad are ddosing your server and it is affectin the network for sighning in and that is
why I would like to receive conpensation

 

You really think MS should compensation you for the little time they were down, might be a total of $.05.

 

While the cries for compensation are a little silly, it is an understandable reaction.

People's gaming time is often limited, so not being able to play because of no fault of their own can be highly frustrating.

Remember it's not just the monetary value of lost Gold time but the entertainment value that has been lost.

 

I'd your cable/internet/cell phone was down for more than one day you would get compensation. What do you think we'll get. "We're sorry"? Not good enough since another division of Microsoft can solve a similar issue within a day why are we not important?

With xbox live going down under hacker attacks seems like every few days and game after game being released broken (BF4, Halo 4, Halo Master Chief Collection, Destiny), can anyone tell me why I should drop hundreds of dollars for an xbox one? Seems to me
like its a good time to switch back to PC gaming.

 

The problems you describe happen on the PC too, it isn't a platform that is immune to the issues.

 

Lizard is taking down everyone but the point I'm trying to make is we should get some compensation for the inconvenience

 

First of all look at all this from a business stand point. This lizard squad is killing Xbox live. Which in return pushes people away from the 360. These same people learn that the lizard squad is not touching the Xbox one. These people go out and buy the
Xbox one. This could very well just be a business ploy to drive up sales for the Xbox one. Plus the attacks are almost pin point accurate. Which means it most likely an inside job.

 

For me, XBOX live has been down more over the last two weeks than it has been up. I don't like paying for something that consistently doesn't work

 

@EndGame Xbox One and PS4 were also down.

 

I haven't checked. I'm too sleepy. Probably heading to bed. I guess I'll be sleeping through the hack fest.

 

I just started having this problem yesterday 12/11/14...My internet connection is great but no xbox live connection...? anyone know why ?? I've got no answer from them and yes I've messaged support

Good luck with that lewis090 the only compensation Ive got from MS in the last 6 years of having Live is constantly having to make sure my auto renew is turned off at least once a week. lol Cuz some how it just keeps turning itself on. Thanks guys Ill decide
