xbox live down... whats new!

I cant believe that on a FRIDAY night this system and company cant get it figured out. People pay hundreds into the thousands of dollars PER person to play. I don't care if it was a gift and you have a console, one game, one controller and one xbox
live membership you are still looking at $500 easy. Those that play more could be 3k deep in this trash. There is hundreds of thousands of people online at anyone time and they all pay at least that much to play... oh wait --- but they cant.. what a joke.
figure it out MICROSOFT AND XBOX. Anyone?!?!?!?!?!

Xbox Live down - Unable to stream locally

So I cant use Pandora on the Xbox One because Xbox Live is down, which I understand. BUT are you telling me that I cant stream music from Windows Media Player on my PC to my Xbox One because Xbox Live is down? Because that is what is happening now. Why the hell would I require Xbox Live to stream music locally?

 

So Microsoft. Where's all this new stuff?

When Xbox Live 1.0 went down not that long ago, Microsoft promised us cool new things.

So where are they? What are they going to do to make up for shutting 1.0 down?

Will Kinect get real games?

What new services will be coming on?

Will it make up for taking Halo 2 offline?

I can appreciate what you are saying.. the people doing need to get a life first off.

I don't understand how someone can get into Microsoft's infrastructure to make this happen. 290 BILLLLION dollar company.. figure it out is what they are supposed to do.

 

Unfortunately the Government can even figure out how to prevent these problems. I hate watching Netflix on my iPad. Have to squint.

 

To be honest Microsoft's infrastructure is far greater than the government's will ever be. Children can get into government computers from anywhere in the world. But the fact is I agree with the first post. I for one have been an avid xbox gamer for going
on 7 years and have spent thousands of dollars on games and accessories. I would like to enjoy such things but seeing as how microsoft can't seem to get their sh*t together anymore it's near impossible to enjoy gaming anymore. This is now the second time in
under a week that something like this has happened to 360 players yet xbox one is unaffected. If this is your attempt at getting us to purchase a One your a sad sad company. Why are only some of us 360 users affected and not all? People in the same zip code
as me are able to play but yet I can't even get on to use Netflix. Ill say this, Sony may get hacked a bunch, but at least when they do they give you something for the time you missed, usually a big title release for free. What do we get for this outrageous
b.s.? Nothing!! All I have left to say to Microsoft is that you need to get your sh*t together. For having one of the world's leading cyber infrastructures you sure seem to have a lot of issues. Think ill just go play my PlayStation 4 in the meantime since
things are working so well on it, plus it is a superior console over the 360 and the One.

 

Weird, Ive been on Xbox Live all night just chilling watching Hulu and Fios.

 

While I know this is frustrating for many please understand that xbox is working on this issue. Also, keep in mind that no one is perfect including xbox and while not being able to connect to xbox live is a nuisance lets not throw them under the bus.

 

Cyber security is no joke. That is why this is so troubling. When some punks sitting around in their moms basement can disrupt a major corporation, then we all are pay the price!!!

Microsoft has an obligation to us as customers and I for one believe they are failing miserably. Keep those eggheads working 24/7 to get this under control.

 

I have not had one issue with Live

 

Been on.it since Friday no problem, I think.microsoft have messed up big time with xbox one but they need to take.precautions when live is compromised and if someone ended up with your account details etc, you'd be moaning even more, while live is down

Dude do yourselves a favour and dumb xbone for PS. These guys at xbone don't know the meaning of customer service. Their staff is inexperienced snot nose kids who don't have the faintest idea what they're doing. Their so called enforcement dorks r a bunch
of trolls who thing they're god and king. They don't know the meaning of being consistent and investigating both sides of the spectrum, and even after you make the effort to report gamertags for profanities, they still don't bother to ban them. I changed to
PS4, no network down time, even when the xbone doom prophets try and tell you so, I'm sorry to expose them by informing them that they're trolling like crazy. Make the switch today, you won't be sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
