XBOX LIVE DOWN -- No posts? Hmmmmm

There must be issues with this site too..... I did search (XBOX LIVE Down) to see what was going on -- no results and keeps logging me out. Anyway, a joke when XBOX LIVE Status shows, "LIMITED" for core, ha-ha. I've come to the ah-ha moment that I CAN"T DO ANYTHING without
being signed in, and of course, that requires XBOX LIVE. I guess MICROSOFT "NEEDS" to collect ever move (click) I make (Welcome to the new age). lol,MS tells me social and gaming is available??? How so, I can't login to do anything, not message, no friends,
not even AMAZON. MUSIC?, none for me. Me (profile) is the CORE service.......that you control.

Sorry MS, it's all down for me --nice try! When's it coming up?

Bring back stand alone discs (no cloud) when I access myself without you watching my every move or thought! Why do I need stand alone games on the cloud (like my old 360 games I downloaded)? Why can't that be saved locally? I know, all or nothing! Big
brother of gaming..... and again, we pay for no say or control!!! Does MS even think of compensation for outages, or is it part of the package?

Anyway, just thoughts as I wait for my "LIMITED" services to return to normal or "ALL SERVICES AVAILABLE."

Hmmmmm. xbox 360 250gb 299.99 where i live, or 100 bucks more i get a 500 gb hardrive and a ps4 that can do offline gaming as well.... hmmmmm tough choice.

^ Live stream is when someone streams something on the computer or in this case, a game, generally including a commentary from the host/s. In this case again, it's hosts. Hope I cleared it up for you Jake.

 

Not sure why this should stop us using Amazon Video/Netflix and the BBC IPlayer and Minecraft which we've
paid for. Because of this 'online always' requirement, for the moment I have a pile of useless black plastic and components in the corner of my room with an Xbox light on it. Well done Microsoft, we are well and truly at your mercy.

Could I dare to use bit of common sense and possibly suggest that we shouldn't have to be on Xbox Live just to use Iplayer/Amazon/Netflix etc and that games should more easily allow offline play if no network is detected...?
