Xbox Live down for 4 days now!!!

I have tried to be patient but this is getting annoying. The network test connects just fine and shows it is connected to Live. BUT, if you try to log in, play a game, or use an app, it immediately disconnects. Already tried all the troubleshooting tips
on this site (clear system cache, reset defaults, etc., etc.). I am so leaning towards a Playstation 4 right now. My modem is fine and all other devices in the house are working fine. If I don't get to play GTA soon, I will have to get a life, and that is
unacceptable!

why have the halo 4 servers been down for 3 days now? I pay for Xbox Live and this is unacceptable.

Comcast and down again for me right now.. was down a couple days ago as well for hours.

connection test shows inetrnet fine, no xbox live.

 

I know you said that your modem/router is working fine but can you please try unplugging them for 10 seconds to see if that helps with the connection problem? I have had issues in the past where the console wouldn't connect where a reset of the modem/router
solved it easily.

 

Yes I tried that a couple of times actually. I went through the "troubleshooter" on the website and tried everything listed so far.

 

My Xbox Live came back on yesterday afternoon. Just checked it and it was there.
