Xbox Live down - can't even play a game offline. Pathetic.

Yep the rest of the internet is up but not Xbox Live - the source to all XBONE.

Dare we assume one of the 18,000 was the person responsible for keeping this up?

 

Same here... This is absolutely unacceptable! I didn't pay 500 *** dollars for a blu ray player, but that's all this damn thing is good for right now! If I went and traded this brick in for a PS4 I'm willing to bet I could be playing before they even have
this fixed.

 

on the flipside you can watch TV through the hdmi in port. works great while live is down

Go to Settings-Network- go offline

 

Yeah guys, you can play offline. Do what the post above me just said or unplug your router. It's because it still recognises that there is a connection to the internet but it can't reach their servers...

 

can you sign into another account on your xbox? i was able to sign into my gfs.....from there i turned on gucamelee... and it asked me to choose a profile... so i figured id try mine for *** and giggles... and it worked...

I have 100% packet loss

 

If we own the games on cd and the console we should be able to play them when we want with or without internet connection. The pre launch statement that the xbox1 would no longer require the internet to play offline games was the only reason I bought it
over the ps4. This is not what the customers wanted and if this remains unresolved I'm tempted to sell this brick and buy a ps4.

 

I'm in the uk and my Xbox live won't even connect, it was working yesterday and everything else in the house is working so why not the Xbox one
