Xbox Live down - can't even play a game offline. Pathetic.

I thought this draconian issue was fixed pre-launch...I thought the [Mod Removed] at Microsoft figured out that ALWAYS ONLINE isn't necessarily always a good thing. Like right now...I understand XBL is down. That's fine.

But why can't I play my single player game offline and the dumb thing sync with the stupid system gets fixed?

How to I get a refund for Xbox live services that I never seem to get since live is always down. Now I can't use my xbox for anything. Can't even play offline games. All 2 that xbox even has.

Can't believe xbox live is down because of a bunch of 12 year olds I can't even sign in to any of my profiles so can't even play offline if I want to save progress.

 

i can't use netflix and thats not a xbox live server thing. and they wonder why ppl did not want DRM

Yeah this is complete BS.. Wanted to Play BF4 Online or Even just Single Player but I cannot. 30 minutes is up in my books Microsoft. please fix your cruddy software/platform. thanks a lot

 

I agree this is just getting out of hand. single player games and video streaming services should be able to work without logging into the xbox live servers. even if you still require live for all these services (which I argue you shouldn't need Gold to
watch Netflix) why not allow the machine to understand when offline that it has xbox live gold? that way we wouldn't lose all these services.

no gameplay, no video streaming, and no guide for television... when xbox live services are down you basically have a bricked machine. this is not what I expect or accept from a system I spent quite a bit of money on and then also pay a yearly fee to access
the online servers

Fortunately I'm more patient than most on here, so I'm willing to sit it out, but this has seemed a bit more consistent of an issue in terms of Xbox Wire, core services, and other gameplay crippling issues. I'm not on the verge of freaking out like most
seem to be, but I must admit that near-weekly system failures don't reflect well.

 

Exactly!!!! I moved and didn't have internet for a short period of time and it made it nearly impossible to play games offline. I agree guys this is seriously getting out of hand. If you buy a car and drive it ten feet only to have the engine explode how

We are freaking out because this and other issues shouldn't be a problem for us period. If you like wasting money than go to another forum to profess your Zen-like attitude towards being taken advantage of.

 

apparently this is still an issue... I can't sign in to xbox live nor will my xbox one play any game... It just sits there and does crap. This is getting absurd. Truly thinking about just selling this damn big box and just going to PC or maybe even PS4.

Not being able to play offline is scandalous. I just realized that I hate Microsoft.

 

Total and utter bs I have the occasional day once to a few times a month to play online due to having a family and other obligations and today was looking dead forward to playing the new dlc on battlefield 4 which I spent money on the same as this *** membership
and I can't even play I have been a loyal xbox owner since the original 360 and am getting seriously *** off with the service from Microsoft May well have to change over to Sony soon unless somehow Microsoft make up for all this crap!
