Xbox live disconnects

I have read everything there is online about Xbox 360/One and random disconnects from Xbox live while streaming video from apps such as Amazon Prime, Fox Now and the CW to name just a couple and in every thread it tends to say that the problem is on our
end. I tend to disagree with that statement. I have tried every fix discussed and even a few of my own. I have plenty of speed and tested 3 ways to Sunday so there is no problem there. Besides if there were a problem I would not be able to stream HD video
through any other device like Phone or tablets using wireless which I do with ease. So this leads me to believe the problem is and always has been at the server end of Microsoft. The thousands of threads out there regarding Xbox live disconnects can't be a
coincidence that something has to be wrong other than "our" internet connection. I to date have still not found a resolve to the issue on my end no matter how many ways I connect, what hardware I use, which provider I use or which Xbox device I use which I have
and had several. I conclude that the problem is on Microsoft's end and always has been since these incidents were first reported with the first release of Xbox as the lack of quality coming out of their factories these days is horrendous. Being a Senior Quality
Assurance Analyst for a multi billion dollar corporation myself I would never release some of crap they do and send the rest back to the developers. So I had my say and at this point I am being rational and cool headed (unlike what I am when it takes me 2
hours to watch 60 minutes because I have to reconnect to Xbox live multiple times to finish it) but the bottom line is I will need to find another device to stream these apps as using Xbox and its requirements to be signed into Live to use days are over as
it is useless at **** on a bull. Just to give you an idea of useless just try to search for "disconnects" in the Search Xbox Forums and see if you get any results. That's quality for you!

X1 Desperate Help !!

I've tried hard resetting and updating and the controller is charged. I don't understand why that every time my Xbox disconnects from live that my controller disconnects as well. For starters I don't even know why my live is disconnecting...

I'll start up a game and in about 5 minutes or so my controller disconnects. I've figured out that every time I see my controller disconnect, that live actually disconnects as well. Does anyone know how the controller and live are related? I need a fix desperately!! I never had the problem before only started about a month ago. Don't know why I'm getting disconnected from live

Sorry to hear about the issue you are seeing with random disconnects. Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console?



Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

• Download Speed
• Upload Speed
• Latency
• Packet Loss %
• Wireless Strength (if applicable)
• Modem Manufacturer
• Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number
• NAT Type

That information will help us determine the next best steps. Thanks!
