Xbox live disconnects while streaming netflix

Every couple of minutes my xbox live will disconnect while watching a show on Netflix. The shows will load instantly and then a few minutes later I will be booted off of xbox live and can instantly sign back in. Xbox live works perfectly for everything
else, I have downloaded multiple games on demand and it plays fine online. I have cleared the cache as stated in other topics and nothing seems to work.

While streaming Netflix, my xbox constantly disconnects from xbox live and keeps suggesting to upgrade to a gold membership or switching profiles. It's super annoying. What do I do too fix this?

Frequent disconnects from Xbox Live while streaming Netflix

speedtest shows me at about 20mbps downstream, about 1mbps up. nothing else on the network is active when i'm streaming, and i'm on a wired connection. i can also run netflix on my computer without disruptions, it's only when streaming with the Xbox. it
doesn't seem to be that my network is dropping the connection or that i'm having bandwidth issues or connection issues to netflix - the error message is telling me that i've been disconnected from Live.

 

Hey mate, do you get log-out of live when starting other apps or games? If so a simple fix for this can be deleting the profile from the console (profile only), clear the system cache, restart the console and re-download the profile. See how you go.

Delete and re-download profile:
support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

Clear system cache:
support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

 

I just tried all that and I'm still getting logged out of xbox live. Our tv, laptops, and phones can all stream netflix perfectly. It's only the xbox continually booting me off.

 

im getting same problem for last few days now tried every advice given on here and its not worked!!

 

This is happening to me as well, extremely frustrating. Anyone find a fix for this yet? My computers, Ipad, phones, etc all work fine. Cleared our cache, my husband did a reset of the xbox, we have a new router, and it still continues to disconnect from
Live. Please help!

 

After deleting my profile then redowloading it I shut my xbox off for a while and it has been working since. Knock on wood haha

 

Its a very bad advise! Never delete your profile.. Just deleted mine and over 4 days and i cant download it back
