Xbox LIVE disconnects when starting up a game? (XBOX 360)

Earlier today, I had been playing Xbox just fine on a game called WWE 2K14. But recently as I tried playing again today, whenever I started up the game it continued on loading but I had noticed any option to have to do with Xbox LIVE was gray. When clicking
the silver xbox button I had the option to connect to Xbox Live and as I thought, it did not connect saying "You have been disconnected from xbox live. Please sign in again" or "Your console cannot connect to xbox live. Would you like to test your connection".
Something around those lines. Other games I play still disconnect and I have to click connect to xbox live and it eventually works on every other game but WWE 2K14..

Things I've tried

I had already tested the Internet connection and it connected to xbox live perfectly fine. I have access to xbox live on the dashboard..

I have cleared my cache multiple times

I have deleted my profile only and re-downloaded it

I have restarted my xbox

I had tried restarting the game... yet the issue persists

What I believe might be responsible

I have been having saves on a flash drive connected to my xbox. This problem could be caused by either situation I will explain happened:

I took the flash drive out without any sort of ejection process. I know computers require you to do so and I fear it might have messed something up.

I did also move a file from the game into the hard drive, plugged it in my computer for back up saves and put the file back into the hard drive.

Other

I do not have this problem on other games as I have just successfully joined a multiplayer lobby in a game and played a little.

I heard my game files are corrputed? If so how can I fix this

This is very random sorry, but also how do I change my background in the dashboard again?

I really love this game please help, thanks to anyone in advance.

Disconnects from live when starting a DVD

Try to delete your profile (profile only), clear
system cache (3 times), download your profile again.

See if the above works.

 

Xbox live disconnects when starting games

Sorry to here about that. Now to fix it:

1. Clear your Xbox 360 system cache YOU MUST DO THIS STEP OR IT WILL NOT WORK

2. Delete your profile

3. Download your profile

If it still says "profiles can't be downloaded" Xbox Live MAY have seized you profile because it is to corrupt.

This error occurs when there is a strong magnetic force around the Xbox.

Are you being disconneceted or is the console turning off???

Click on your avatar under the social tab to change your theme/backround

If corrupted, delete the save and start fresh.

Sorry for being impatient. But not the console is not turning off, I can continue playing the game it doesn't go to dashboard but I just don't have access to xbox live

 

same ere i can sign in on home page before starting a game but when game is on its disconnecting and saying same thing you need to sign in to xbox live or test your connection with i have done many times been like this for over 3 hours for me now

 

If you call the 800 number for xbox they tell you that XBL is having connection issues and that the techs are working on it.

Same has been happening to me all day. I noticed on xbox.com my profile won't load either. Oh well, I hope they get it fixed soon enough.

 

Same been happening to me too (in UK).

No problems with apps like Youtube, etc, but disconnects from live when I start to play a game, very annoying.

 

Every app or game I open I gotta re sign in . Sometimes it's doesn't work when I retry so I gotta restart the console I've been having this issue with my 360 ever sinceexperienced I got the Xbox one on release date. They should've figured this out by now
along with the other server issues they have with the one . Crashes on titan fall launch date and during destiny beta .

 

Just having issues in general for me. Usually running 44 download wirelessly on the X1, been around 2 for the past few days -_- And ANY 360 game or app i launch freezes immediatly. Sucky
