    Xbox live disconnects when I launch a game


    Hi,

    Basically, any time I launch a game that automatically tries to connect to their online servers (which is nearly every game now), it disconnects me from xbox live. It'll then stay down for around 1-2 minutes before coming back online. Sometimes it'll connect
    to the servers upon coming online and other times it'll repeat the process of kicking me off.

    This has been happening for around 3-6 months, I can't put an exact date on it, but has become extremely bad recently.

    Any help in solving would be very appreciated.

    Yes, I've tried power cycling the xbox, resetting modem.

    I've also changed ethernet cables and changing the DNS server to the Google DNS as it was suggested on other posts I researched.

    It also only occurs on the xbox. PC and other devices all seem to be fine. I've also asked other users on XBL to try find out if they've had the issue but none have.
