    Hi was hoping to get some help with a recent problem I've been having on my Xbox One system. The problem is I keep getting disconnected from Xbox Live and party chat for a second or so during gameplay. It quickly reconnects, but it's enough to boot me from
    an online game. This only seems to happen when playing with a friend in a private match. When we're connected to a server it is alright most of the time,but when playing a private hosted co-op game with party chat we will usually get disconnected after about
    10-30 minutes of play. We both have open NAT and even live just a few streets away from each other so there really shouldn't be any lag or disconnects. I have tried changing up between wired and wireless, router resets, port forwarding and nothing seems to
    help. We have perfectly smooth online play for a while before a sudden lag spike and disconnect. This has only started recently even though our network situation has not changed in any way. Any tips or help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  3. Disconnecting from Xbox Live when playing with friends

    I have a little problem here. I was playing Spartan Ops (halo4) with my friend and I keep getting disconnected from Xbox Live.

    So I tested the network connection and everything is okay, NAT is open etc. BUT when the LIVE Status list comes up a yellow exclamation mark shows up for Account: Service Alert. I pressed Y for information and the following list shows up:

    W: 0000 - 0021

    X: 0000 - F001

    Y: 20A8 - 4840

    Z: 0000 - 0000

    ID: FFFF - FFFF

    L: 0015 - 10F0

    Q: 0015 - 10F1

    T: Wireless

    D: 10.0.0.1, 0.0.0.0

    S: WPA2

    C: 5

    Can someone please tell me what this problem is and what can be done to solve this?

    Sorry to hear about the network issues. Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console?



    Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

    • Download Speed
    • Upload Speed
    • Latency
    • Packet Loss %
    • Wireless Strength (if applicable)
    • Modem Manufacturer
    • Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number

    That information will help us determine the next best steps. Thanks!

  5. I'm usually wired, but I swapped to wireless for a bit and the problem was even worse. Here are my results

    Download speed 64.57 mbps

    Upload speed 2.95 mbps

    Packet loss 0%

    Latency 159ms

    Router is a Virgin Media make model is superhub VMDG480

  6. Thanks for the details, we really appreciate it. So it looks like there is a known issue with the Virgin Media Superhub

    "Known Issues

    This Gateway will sometimes cause issues connecting with cloud based games, resulting in a timeout with "Unable to join session" status message. This is due to the Gateway being configured to disable IPSec Pass-Through by default. IPSec Pass-Through is required
    to establish multi-player sessions. To resolve this issue, you must enable IPSec Pass-Through on the Gateway."

    So it looks like you'll need to try enabling IPSec Pass-Through on the device to see if it works out. Virgin Media should be able to show you how to do this if you're not familiar with the device and login procedure. Try that and let us know how it goes!

    Same here. I updated my 360 and was playing with friends, when !@#$%^ "Disconnected from Xbox Live"

    Tried to reconnect "Try unplugging your router, see if that works" It didn't... Get your !@#$ together MC
