Xbox live cutting out constantly

Heh, I tried that and so far nobody has responded.... maybe there are too many "cannot connect" and "disconnected from xbox live" threads for you to respond to them?

Hey there Phoenix! I understand you are having some troubles connecting to LIVE. To start off with, can I have you try resetting your network settings on your console to see if that helps. You can find those steps here (support.xbox.com/.../error-cant-access-internet-problem-connection-978953).

I also see that you are connecting wirelessly. To test, can I have you try connecting directly to the modem with an ethernet cable to see if that changes anything. If that works, try connecting directly to the router. The results of these tests can help us

i checked my network its fine and did hard reset. for a few days last week it was ok but last two days have been annoying. the problem must be with microsoft servers when i do a connection test for multiplayer it says no problem but still happens

Try doing a reset on your network equipment by unplugging it for a couple of minutes then restarting it. Also, perform a hard reset on your console EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test the results.
