Xbox live credentials

When I try to sign into my account on the 360 a message saying there's a problem with my credentials. It also gives me a website to go to fix it, but I have no idea how to.

Xbox live Credentials???

Ok so after i ended up downloading my xbox-live profile to another system anytime i try to re-download it back to my own system i get some error saying there is a problems with my credentials and to go to Web Server's Default Page it fix it but on that site
there is nothing about credentials.

How to add proofs

Go to Manage your security info and sign in with your Microsoft account.

Select Add New under Phone number or under Alternate email address.

Follow the instructions to set up and confirm the new proof.

If you already have a proof on your account, you might need to use that proof to verify the addition of a new proof.
Note Proofs can be added to new accounts without validation for a short period. Existing accounts will need to have their proofs validated by using an existing proof.

If you’re unable to access any of your current proofs (such as a phone number you don’t recognize or an expired email account), see Get help with
your Microsoft account security proofs.

Is your password more than 16 characters?

The 360s including the emulators on the Ones password box is limited to 16 characters so it stops entering in the password once you hit 16 and will show this error.

If your password is longer than 16 characters make it something less.

If you do not have two step verification on another thing that you want to make sure is that your password is not longer then 16 characters the 360 console does not like passwords that are 16 characters or longer.
