    Xbox Live Crapping the Bed?


    So I'm not sure if this is a widespread problem, but Xbox live, particularly for 360, seems to flake out on me at times.

    For example, today I tried playing Dark Souls (1) on my Xbox One, which I should point out I was doing just last week, I got the message "Sorry, this profile can't connect to Xbox live on this console. To fix it, download it again."

    I thought to myself, "okay... maybe my live expired." Immediately renewed my subscription, restarted both my Internet and my console and then booted up Souls. Same problem.

    And now this next part is what really gets me peeved.

    The error message says download my profile again. I put in my email and get to the password screen. Now I know my password, I had to write it down on a sticky note and put that note on my console. When I put my password in, it tells me that it's incorrect
    and to use my app password.

    Thanks Xbox. I just did that.

    This question is two fold, why can't I "access live on this profile" and why does Xbox not recognize my password?

    Final for the record I understand things happen and not raising **** because I couldn't game online as much as that sucked but upset that Xbox One streaming to Windows 10 (IMHO Microsoft's one killer feature these days) requires the Live service to work
    when it obviously shouldn't need too. There should be an offline mode for at least 24 hours or something for when Microsoft servers inevitably crap the bed.

    Why should we pay so much for so little?

    The only time I have to plug in the Ps3 controller is at night before I got to bed. It will be charge full the next day. It's not that bad... The plug and play kits are crap using Rechargeable batteries is by far a better choice.
