Xbox Live Connectivity

So last night everything was beautiful Xbox running great was watching Twitch then I go to the Halo 5 launch event, pick up my copy, come home and It says I need to connect to Xbox live? I enter in our password for the wifi it says it's connected but all
I have is my home screen telling me to connect to Xbox live. No store, can't get on netflix, no multiplayer for me. I've done all the basics restarting, unplugging etc. It shouldn't be the Internet since my boyfriends xbox one is right next to mine and his
is connected and running perfect. I've spoken to two different people on Xbox support and still no answers. Any ideas?

Go and test the Xbox Live Network Connection. Then try these features again.

I test my connection it says all good your console is connected to Internet but nothing works

Have you registered your console for Preview updates? If so, is your console running the current preview update?

Hey taidara, I'm in the preview program and it has the latest preview updates. I've tried a bunch of ways of getting to work but the main problem is that it is saying that the NAT Type is: "Strict"

 

Nvm it seems to be working now for some odd reason?

 

Not in the preview program. I've reset my xbox and my wifi, I've called my internet provider to open ports, I've hard reset my Xbox. I talked to 4 different support people and no fix as of yet...

 

Same issue here Courtney as of this morning. No XBOX Live for me until the fix comes. Many are having the same issue.

 

SInce yesterday my upload speed has gone from the usual 7 or 8 mb/sec to one mb/sec or less .. can't play Halo 5, i get kicked as soon as the game starts. Had my ISP out here, got new modem, direct connection to it and so on, but the upload remained horrible,
while the download is normal and the PC's here show normal upload speeds.

Is this the xbox servers that is throttling the upload?

 

@CourtneyOK21 @BinaryXtreme @ - Apprecite if the both of you can tell us which ISP you are using.

@Zen Dudeism - Since your situation seems to be related to something different, I would appreciate if you can start your own thread with a detailed description of your situation along with any error code you are getting and any troubleshooting steps you
have tried so far.

 

@CourtneyOK21 I'm having the same exact issues. I've also tried all of the steps you've done to correct the issue. Nothing.

 

any word yet o how to fix this yet?still says that im not connected even though my 360 is

 

I'm using Charter but it's happening on AT&T too. Day and a half, no XBOX Live!
