xbox live connectivity in sudan

i heard you could get banned from xbox live for using a vpn router , i live in an embargoed country and using a vpn router is the only way to play xbox like at all in my country. i was hoping that there was an alternative soloution that doesnt include risking
my account getting banned or suspended?

i was also wondering if i could just wait this out and wait for my country to get a warrant even tho my console has been working (before the update in october 2018)

You can't, because Xbox LIVE has no connection option for Sudan. No schedule for Sudan connection has been announced.

Only countries on the list will have access to xbox live. If it is not there, it is due to governmental restrictions.
