Xbox live connection

Hi there

I connect to Xbox live through a ethernet cable connected to a Canyon 8-port ethernet switch.

My pc is also connected to the same switch.

I recently was a victim of a malicious software attack on my pc via a Hacktool:Win32:Keygen program whereafter my internet and xbox live settings did not work anymore.

After removing the threat from my pc and getting my internet to work again on the pc I still cannot connect to Xbox live as it keeps telling me I have no internet connection on my xbox console.

When i try to run a network connection test it is picking up my network but still not the internet and it says my xbox live is blocked.

I get an error code: 80151909 when I try to connect to xbox live.

After visiting xbox.com and trying all the recommended procedures like clearing browser cache and restoring network settings to default etc. I am still experiencing the same problem.

I even tried manually configuring IP and DNS settings but that also did not work.

However if I connect my xbox 360 console via a Mobile hotspot I am able to connect to xbox live,but not when I try to connect like I have been connecting previously through the ethernet cable.

Is it possible that through the malicious attack on my pc my xbox won't connect due to a problem with my pc or has my account been compromised?

I do not get any messages that my account has been suspended or my console has been banned is it possible that my account could be suspended due to this attack without my knowledge?

I would really appreciate any assistance with this matter please as I want to get back onto Xbox live as soon as possible.

Xbox Live is under DDOS attack at the moment. I'm sure MS will have it solved shortly.

 

How to connect to Xbox Live in X1

There is no button or menu to connect!

The system is not connected, I do a network test and it passes, but still is not connected... I can't do anything with the X1 if it's not connected to live!

Is there a way to manually connect to Xbox live in this console?
