Xbox live connection

My Xbox won't connect to live. When I try to run the test it doesn't recognize my available network. I have an ethernet cable run to the machine. I pick wired network and it tells me to make sure an ethernet cable is connected. It is. This started about
a week ago. I've tried other ethernet cables and had the same problem.

There is no button or menu to connect!

The system is not connected, I do a network test and it passes, but still is not connected... I can't do anything with the X1 if it's not connected to live!

Is there a way to manually connect to Xbox live in this console?

 

Have you tried restarting your router, disconnecting all other devices on the network, and trying again with only your Xbox plugged in?
