xbox live connection ok, unable to play games online HELP!

My connection to xbox live is testing ok.

Have a XBOX live gold membership

But still impossible to play games online.

Origin account is linked to my xbox live

For instances NEED FOR SPEED RIVALS: get message that I have to log in on my xbox live and origin. But this is the case.

Anybody any Idea?

Anyone else unable to sign into xbox live when playing the 360 games?

When pressing both the Menu and View buttons to bring up the mini guide it just says connect to xbox live.

 

Can't connect to parties or online games

Ok, so basically, I'm having trouble with my Xbox live. I seem to be unable to connect to parties, or even connect to online games. However, my Xbox live connection is sill saying that it is connected. My NAT setting is open if that has any help. Also,
whenever I try to play black ops 2 online it says that can't connect the servers, but it connects second time. Can't connect inline for any other games either, any advice will be great appreciated.

Hard resetting

Resetting router

Test other types of connections

SEE THE XBOX LIVE STATUS

Check game servers if they are down

Check if your router is receiving issues, or is blocking your XBOX 360

No, only a lot of frustration.

I can log in

I can go on the internet with the xbox

Xbox live test is green

But no way to play any game in multiplayer.

Are you able to take a picture of your screen when you try to launch up multiplayer in one of your games and then post the link here for me? You will need to load the image to a file sharing site of your choice, and then post the link back here in your reply.
From there, we can see what else might be up with your multiplayer.

Alright, that is really weird. You don't have any recent suspensions or issues with EA or Origin, right? What region are you currently in? Outside of these two games, are there other EA or Origin games that you play that you aren't receiving this error on?

I'm trying to gather some more information to see if we can pinpoint what you might be running into. This is a more unique issue than we generally see, so I'm likely going to ask a lot more questions than other users get.

I only have a live Gold membership for 2 weeks. So, no issues with EA/origin. Added a photo to show that origin in linked to xbox 360.

I am from Belgium.

I realized we haven't done the most basic of troubleshooting! Go ahead and
remove your profile only from your Xbox 360, and then download it again (instructions for both are on that link). Since you recently got Gold, it might be that the console doesn't recognize your Gold fully and this resolves that, normally.
