Xbox Live Connection Issues

Hello,

My xbox live does not connect on its own. My internet works fine on the console (Xbox One) but each time i run a connection test it says "Your network is good, but there are some xbox service issues". This is really irritating now. Please help me. I have
done the hard reset process. It did work once but i can't repeat this process each time i turn on my console. Why doesn't it get resolved for ever? This is really bothering. Need help.

dependin on the xb1 and what update you are on this can happen.. the newer update with the user interface similar to windows10 had a big update to part chatt.. it even expanded how many in the party.. pre the windows 10 update allot of users had issues with chatt with people in the preview program and people not.. not sure if the problems still exist..

Any Xbox one users can help? we have an issue.

Recently my son was playing his xbox and we added Xbox live (one month free trial)

All connection tests came back good, and he can talk to his friend. However when they try to join each other's game it says "connection lost".

I assumed it was the modem so I connected it to a secondary wifi we have and still the same. His friend attempted to join a game and got the same message. A friend of mine in a different state said she has been having the same issues the last few days.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this or what it might be?? HELP!!!! Lol

 

sounds like a profile issue or a router issue.....try this below first and see if anything changes......

go into settings and accounts and remove all the profiles , (make sure you have the email and password to get them back ) after you remove the profiles , shut the xbox down by holding the xbox logo on the console for 8 seconds till it powers down , while
it is off , unplug your modem and router for 30 seconds to clear them also , plug the modem and router back up and when they are online , turn the xbox back on , when it is all the way up , re add your main profile ...it may sit there and sync a little while
but all SHOULD be good afterwards ...

 

I have found that I changed my password on my live email and this caused the issue. Signed out signed back in and asked me for the new password. Worked perfectly.

 

Thank Bimnog and Jamie you for your support and help but it still didn't work I tried the whole procedure as suggested by Bimnog but the problem prevails. This is what i'm encountering. My xbox live doesn't connect on its own, though i'm connected to
internet. Under network settings I do get this information: NAT type: Open, and All Services are Available. Yet when I test my connection it gives the message "Your network is good, but there are some xbox service issues". I do get connected to live after
I forget my network and add it again by giving password but this is a repeated procedure too, I have to do it so many times before i get the message "Everything is Good". And once i'm connected to live, i do not get disconnected. It is just the initial connection
which is bothering me. Can you please suggest something else? Thank you again.

 

it might be a router issue (some routers don't work well with xbox one, especially wireless) what is the brand and model of the modem and router you are using ?

 

Mine one is PTCL. Can signal issue be a problem? Or if i connect my xbox via wired internet?

 

I have never heard of that one but yes , try it wired and see if it helps....also ,you can try and make a wifi hotspot with your phone and test it that way to see if it is the router ....

Try this. Your saves will be fine if you have been playing online they will be saved in the cloud.

Log out of all profiles. Then remove your profile from the console. Perform an hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console
for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational reload your profile log in and test to see if the problem is resolved.
