Xbox Live Connection Issues

Hello,

I am posting here today on behalf of a friend's network issues with Xbox Live. He tries to sign into Xbox Live and it says that he cannot connect to Xbox Live but when he tests his conection to Xbox Live, it says that he can connect to the Internet as well
as Xbox Live.

He has tried two different ways to connect, with the xbox 360 wireless adapter and by creating a network bridge between his Xbox and laptop.

The network adapter also allows him to pass the connection to Xbox Live test but he still receives NAT errors. With the network bridge with his laptop, he's tried forwarding to his 360, to his laptop and at one point to both at the same time, all to no
avail.

The funny thing about this situation, though is that he's connected to Xbox Live before using the network bridge but now it doesn't seem t work.

Also, not sure if it's worth mentioning or not, but he also has the ability to connect to the XBConnect service and play with other players but not Xbox Live.

Can anyone help us out here?

If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter? I have a black wireless adapter but it doesn't work when I use this either.

Things you have tried:

Is UPnP Enabled?: No my modem doesn't support it.

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? Yes however ports 3074 and 88 are forwarded.

Xbox live connection issue

dependin on the xb1 and what update you are on this can happen.. the newer update with the user interface similar to windows10 had a big update to part chatt.. it even expanded how many in the party.. pre the windows 10 update allot of users had issues with chatt with people in the preview program and people not.. not sure if the problems still exist..

 

Xbox live connection issue

Any Xbox one users can help? we have an issue.

Recently my son was playing his xbox and we added Xbox live (one month free trial)

All connection tests came back good, and he can talk to his friend. However when they try to join each other's game it says "connection lost".

I assumed it was the modem so I connected it to a secondary wifi we have and still the same. His friend attempted to join a game and got the same message. A friend of mine in a different state said she has been having the same issues the last few days.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this or what it might be?? HELP!!!! Lol
