Xbox live connection issues. Need help ASAP

So i have been having modem issues, it was saying all my devices were connected but still not working, reset it and the computer and my phone are fine.

But the problem on my xbox has not gone away. When i turn it on, it connects to the internet, but it seems to be frozen in time almost. My friends list is stuck on what it was 2 days ago(last time it worked) and shows my friends online at that time and what
they were playing, but is not current, hence why it's like it's frozen in time. Also, all my pins are gone, and going to the apps and trying to pin them does nothing.

Also, trying to play any game, it does not connect to online, and says "We couldn't get the latest game data" or something like that. The xbox says my internet is fine, and it is i think, and xbox live is up, but all this will not go away. I can't do anything.

I've reset my modem like i said, fixed my other electronics, but even after hard resetting my xbox nothing changes... any suggestions?

Ok, Tesco have a deal on the xbox one S with Fifa 17 for £225 ... They have a voucher for £25 off any order over £150 .. So the Xbox will only cost me £199.. Il sell fifa for £30 .. So thats £170 for an xbox one S



However here is my issue. I game share with my brother on the current xbox one. I will be moving this upstairs as a media player and netflix player and keeping the One S to game on.


How does the game sharing work here? I know i can gameshare from my one S to my brother as normal. But what if i was ill and wanted to play inbed upstairs on my old console. What would i be able to play? Everything is stored on my external

 

Update to anyone commenting: Apparently my isp, time warner is having dns issues and this could be the problem. I'll see if the issue resolves itself sooner or later, but likewise, if you have any suggestions im still open to them to fix this, thank you.

 

I'm guessing your using a gateway from your isp. If so , list what kind and the model , you may have to get in there and try a few things...

 

agreed with bimnog. you probably will have to go on the static IP + port forward road...

 

I dont know how to delete a forum post on here, but i resolved the issue, just by signing out and back in, lol... So no need for further help, thanks anyway!
