XBox Live connection failing

I am able to connect my PC and other devices to WiFi network. Xbox Live connection is failing after recent firmware of xbox. I was able to connect earlier. Does any one faced the problem?.

I contacted my ISP, they says, if you are able to browse internet from internet i shouldn't have any problem with xbox.

Unplug the power from the router or modem for 30 seconds. Reconnect the power and wait another 30 seconds.

Xbox 360 --> Wifi Access point --> Internet --> XBpx Live.

Green dots between xbox 360 and wifi access point also beteween access point and internet. I am connected to the same wify access point from my laptop and it is working without any issues.

I am based out of India, service provider is Airtel.

I tried reconfiguring XBox 360 and my modem(braoadband -betel).

No error codes only red cross mark some times between my wifi ap and internet, some times internet and xbox live.

 

Thanks for the info! I'm not familiar with that particular service provider, but I feel like it should work.

I see you mention wifi. Are you connecting wirelessly? If so, let's try simplifying the network by using a wired connection. Try using an ethernet chord to wire your console directly into your router. If it still continues to give you trouble, try wiring
your console directly into your modem.

This will slowly rule out things as the issue and (hopefully) we'll land on a setup that works and we can work our way back from there.

 

It was working fine till few days but it stopped working recently, WiFi modem is very far from my console, need to debug thru wifi only . Thanks for trying.

 

Hi Tripp, it is problem with my DSL Modem. I replaced it with new one and i am able to connect to XBOX live.
