XBox Live Connection error on 360 after buying XBox One.

I live in Seattle. I am on Frontier FIOS. I have a Linksys WRT 1900 AC Router. I purchased an XBox One and have two XBox 360. Upon purchasing the One, I was having issues getting Teredo Address. I was told by Microsoft it was a router issue. I called
Linksys, at the time I had an E3000 router. They told me that they would not support me, unless I paid them or bought a new router. Ok...done, bought a new router. So, back to the issue. Teredo issue was still there. Finally after some back and forth
and a factory reset...NAT Opened, XBox One was connected, golden. So, I move to the XBox 360's. They were previously online, but now with the new router having issues. Get on the internet, cannot connect to Live. Try factory reset, not working. Try bypassing
thr router and plugging right into Fiber...not working. Tried AT&T LTE over my phone, not working. Ran a trace route on the 360's. Both of them were getting to 198.32.134.152 which is a wst-76e-1.ntwk.msn.net host name. The very next hop(hop 7) is a timeout.
Microsoft cannot answer why and has no resolution. So, I am sitting here wondering what to do and I am hoping that someone has insight. To me, the 360's are for some reason being filtered out by Microsoft. I have tried to do even an initial setup on one,
thinking...ok, this HAS to be it...still no. I am completely out of ideas.

Checked my old Xbox 360 and noticed that it only conects properly to XBox Live by cable using another internet connection. Tried to use that cable connection instead of wireless on Xbox One and got a DNS error, solved by resetting de router. After the first
game finally downloaded my XBox 360 info, everything works just fine back on wireless.

Seems like Xbox Live works completely different on both consoles, and you just need to have a connection compatible with XBox 360 to autenticate on Xbox One.

I use xbox 360. [Robot beep]: Error Error Not connection on xbox live, while Sign in on xbox live not connection on XBOX Live.

I test connection on XBOX Live: Xbox 360 is OK, wireless is OK, internet connection is OK, XBOX Live is Fail. And Xbox Live service still running up. Xbox Live Status: "Xbox Live Core Services".

Xbox 360 is working file and Xbox live service is running up, still there. but its glitch or maybe damage from xbox live service "Xbox Live Core Services". Please fix this xbox live connection on xbox live. "Xbox Live Core Services".

 

Try port forwarding for Xbox Live Servers . I have Verizon FiOS just got the new FiOS G1100 router I had to open up the ports for the firewall it was also driving me nuts because it kept disconnecting my Xbox 360 E from Xbox Live but my Xbox One worked
fine which was odd.

I have those open already unfortunately, except 53. 53 causes a DNS conflict and then NOTHING in the house gets online. The issue of port forwarding should be removed (I believe) by the fact that I have tried to both plug it directly to the Fiber on a
Public IP (isolating the router) and I have tried to use a mobile hot spot. I think it is something on Microsoft's end (either on the consoles or the handshake with the server). However, getting them to listen to that is tough. Does Microsoft block consoles
by the device ID or some other device identifier? I am at a loss.

 

I still have not been able to solve this. Microsoft it telling me I need additional game servers from Frontier. Has anyone heard of this or tried it? My assumption is Frontier will tell me to pound sand.

Appreciate if you can post up the make and model of the device that your router terminates to (if it's a mediaconverter, or a Triple-Play box for your fiber (normally a giga switch with QoS)).

You can't manually set a forwarding rule, to allow inbound traffic to one of your console's, since you connect mutiple consoles to your router/NAT. Your NAT's external "window" has to be open, to allow inbound traffic from any source IP, and port, to each
and everyone of your consoles.

Start by visiting Linksys webpage, and make sure your router is up-to-date with the latest version of firmware.

Disable, or clear any entries in Port Forwarding, and or Port Triggering, being related to one, or more of your consoles. This also applies to the DMZ of your router. That is, if any of your consoles IP address is placed within this zone.

Make sure UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is enabled.

Go to Firewall settings on your router and make sure "Block/Filter Anonymous Internet Requests" is ticked disabled.

I would recommend that you use the "Energy-saving power mode", instead of Instant-On mode.

Post back and let us know how that goes, and we'll work from there.

My router actually connects directly to fiber. There is not a modem or any device in the path. To that, I did try to bypass the router and plugged an XBOX 360 right to the fiber and had the same time out at the same MSN Hop.

 

I will attempt to remove the triggers when I get home.

 

If you try connect both your Xbox 360's directly to your fiber box (each at a time of course), can neither of these two connect to Live properly? Before you make a direct connection, make sure you restore both console's network settings to factory defaults.

I did try that (plugging into Fiber), restoring the connections along the way, clearing cache and storage. It still clears the 4 Frontier Hops, but times out at the MSN IP. To that end, I also tried a mobile LTE hot spot, just to see. Now...that may have
had its own set of issues that may have precluded Live Connection, I am not sure. But, I thought it would be worth the effort to attempt connection outside of my home network.

 

But your Xbox One is able to connect to Live just fine?

If you select one of your 360's and run the diagnostic test (Test Xbox Live Connection), do you then get an error code?

 

I get the connect connect to XBOX Live error.

 

Just to clarify, do you have connectivity to Live with your Xbox One? Or is it still an ongoing issue with Teredo tunneling?
