Xbox Live connection dropping

Discus and support Xbox Live connection dropping in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My connection to xbox live will drop every 5 minutes even though my wifi connection is fine.     Xbox Live connection dropping


    My connection to xbox live will drop every 5 minutes even though my wifi connection is fine. Is there any way to resolve this at all?

    ive never had a problem with xbox live before but suddenly the past week ive been having trouble staying signed in, im with virgin and using an all in 1 router, using an ethernet cable. the connection keeps dropping and it varies from 5 minutes to
    20 minutes i havent changed a thing within the router settings so i cant understand why this has affected my XBL...any help would be greatly appreciated

    Both have been reset and as the case with most people that have this issue it did nothing Xbox Live connection dropping :( restoring factory defaults also didn't do anything.. aside from me having to redo the basic settings... either way the disconnects kept happening

    Like I said xbox live was running perfectly for 5 years before this, I understand that many / most problems are on the user's end but isn't it even remotely possible something went wrong in some update orso? especially since so many people have the issue?
    It's not that I WANT to blame you guys (the XBL service) but I really honestly have no idea what the problem could be on this end as everything is functioning flawlessly.. especially when everything has been reset / restored.

    I recovered it to the new xbox and transferred my licenses and moved my DLC over to the new one.
