    Xbox Live Connection dropping then reimmediately connecting?


    When playing Overwatch or ESO (Elder Scrolls Online), my connection is fine until a point of where I get disconnected from xbox live, but I also then get immediately reconnected as if nothing was wrong. In overwatch's HUD/UI in the top left I see packet
    loss and a minor connection problem, but they go away pretty often until I am about to get disconnected then both pop up and I am then disconnected from Xbox Live and reimmediately connected. I have ran a speedtest on the xbox and and my speeds are 24.50 Down
    and 2.76 Up and a 82-84 Ping.

    ive never had a problem with xbox live before but suddenly the past week ive been having trouble staying signed in, im with virgin and using an all in 1 router, using an ethernet cable. the connection keeps dropping and it varies from 5 minutes to
    20 minutes i havent changed a thing within the router settings so i cant understand why this has affected my XBL...any help would be greatly appreciated

    Xbox Live connection dropping

    My connection to xbox live will drop every 5 minutes even though my wifi connection is fine. Is there any way to resolve this at all?

    Hey Selenne. What is your connection speed? And for clarity, are you just having a spotty connection and getting dropped, or are you unable to connect to Xbox Live at all?

    Have you tried testing your internet connection? Check the connection to xbox live using the account and also check your Internet connectivity to your gateway. Connections that are spotty may drop.
