    Xbox live connected but struggling to connect to any live games


    I recently moved out to Dubai and brought my xbox with me , i am having trouble connecting/joining games on live . I am signed in and connected but it just can't seem to find available games to join ? i have changed my location to UAE and still having the
    same problem .. does anyone have any idea what else to change ?

    Xbox Live is under DDOS attack at the moment. I'm sure MS will have it solved shortly.

    How to connect to Xbox Live in X1

    There is no button or menu to connect!

    The system is not connected, I do a network test and it passes, but still is not connected... I can't do anything with the X1 if it's not connected to live!

    Is there a way to manually connect to Xbox live in this console?

    Hi, Loure. I hope you're doing well and safe out there. I'm an Independent Advisor and I’m happy to help you today.

    According to Xbox page, this may mean that there's a problem with the Xbox Live service or that your Xbox Live account is failing to properly authenticate:

    Let's try some steps to further isolate the issue. Kindly turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds and then plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

    Honestly, I wouldn't use wireless for MP games like CoD or BF. Just connecting to LIVE is fine but wireless struggles with those games. A wired connection is your best option.

    Connecting to live uses bandwidth.You are then connecting to the Destiny servers which also uses bandwidth.

    1:6mbps is extremely slow & not a recommended speed for xbox live/online multiplayer.

    5mbps is the minimum really & even with that you may struggle at times.
