    Xbox Live Connect, Disconnect and repeat.


    Ever since the update, my Xbox will connect to live for around five seconds, disconnect for ten seconds and reconnect and disconnect. This issue just repeats itself as long as the console is powered on. My laptop and phone are connected with a constant stable
    connection the whole time. I talked to MS and they didnt seem to help me at all, just the usual turn the power off, reset the modem and what not. If anybody could help with this, it would be greatly appreciated as i am lost on where to go from here. I'm hoping
    that this is an issue MS will take care of, i havent seen other people with the same issue i am having.

    The last two days, as soon as I launch the app it disconnects me from XBox Live and refuses to connect. As soon as I get out of the app, my XBox connects me to XBox Live. Happens every time on repeat without fail.

    Cannot connect to xbox live.

    This morning I was able to connect and play online just fine, Now when it connects, within a minute it disconnects and will not reconnect. I reset the machine, it repeats the cycle. I can connect to the internet, but not to live. Anyone know whats up?

    try to disconnect all PC and other consolles, then connect to xbox live and verify if you lost the connection. Repeaters in my opinion are useful... if the problem is the router "overbooking" buy 1 or 2 access point and the problem will disappear :)

    Hi Crichelle01! Thanks for the info you've supplied, and for how thorough your post is! It certainly helps. :) After reviewing the information you've supplied, it appears that you are currently using a third party wireless adapter. It's possible this may
    be causing your issue, but just to be sure, let's try connecting your console to your router using an ethernet cable. This will eliminate the adapter from the equation, and if everything works in this configuration, we can start working backwards from there.
