    Xbox Live Communication (Mic) not working


    I have been struggling to get the mic to work with our Xbox for our son. I have reviewed videos and articles on the Xbox settings, verified the Xbox settings are correct. I have opened 7 ports on our router per Microsoft's guidelines. I have disconnected
    and reconnected Epic games account to his Xbox live account. I am starting to think kids cannot communicate on XBox live, even with friends. Can anyone confirm this is the case or provide another approach. Thank you in advance.

    Hi Isaiah,

    It seems the issue is related to the in-game chat option not working properly in a streaming format since your mic and headsets works in other formats and they work separately on different displays.

    What happens if you invite your brother's profile to an Xbox Live party chat and communicate that way? Is there an audio or mic issue when forming a party chat and choosing to not speak in game chat?

    Communications is not limited to talking through a mic.

    It covers messages as well.

    Your right to free speech does not apply to xbox live.

    ^I got sick of the xbox live community long before I ever played a CoD game. The Halo 3 community was enough for me to turn my mic off and never use it again.

    That game is a fantasy. In reality everyone will be running around the place silent or with no mic and doing their own thing. No strategy and no communication. This has been my Xbox 360 Live experience. Early Xbox Live was a dream though.

    So Why is the Xbox PC App so Bad?

    The app is garbage, it disallows me from using my mic to speak in parties for literally no reason, it works perfectly on every other communication application, but on the Xbox App it just blasts static down the mic. Broken ass app please fix.
