Xbox Live Code Didn't Work

I just bought an Xbox 1 that came with a 14 day Xbox Live Gold Membership card. I entered the code on my Xbox 360 because I don't have Destiny or Halo for the Xbox 1 yet. I think the membership is working for the Xbox 1, but not the Xbox 360. I tried re-entering
the code, but it said it was already used. What should I do?

Codes didn't work

Got gears of war 4 ultimate edition as I wanted the codes ASAP to play the originals with my friends.

Didn't realize how long it would take to get the codes, but when I finally did, none of them worked...I tried redeeming them repeatedly over the last two months, and finally was able to get GOW3 to work, but none of the others. They just kept saying error
and to try again later.

Now the codes themselves are no longer in my messages, so I called xbox support - basically a longwinded answer to say they can do nothing for me. Not only can they get me new codes, but they also can't refund me the money for the ultimate edition as all
I really would have wanted (if I knew about this code situation) is the standard edition. Thanks for taking 140 dollars of my money.

The advice I got - post this on the forums and maybe someone can help. My case number was

Sorry to hear it. Trial codes do not show as a Gold membership and only give limited access to some Live services. Usually the codes are limited to access for the games they came with only.

Also, in case you were thinking about it adding another, trial codes do not stack.

Thank you for the answer But if I add a code that is not a trial, like, say, a 3 month code, would it work? Or do I have to wait the 14 days?

If you add a full gold code, it will overwrite the remaining time left on your trial and start the 3 months.

Now i got the same problem with a prepaid 3 month xbox live code...

which i bought from a shop in romania, it was a prepaid code which includes a weapon skin for the division, and the code for the skin worked but the other one for xbox live didn't.....

I was trying to show you the two possible codes that didn't work (I think one didn't work, but Xbox seems to think another didn't work) But they hid the codes.
