Xbox Live code card from Original Xbox, yes OG

I have an old Xbox Live code card but when I try to redeem it says "Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page."

How do I redeem this code?

Some of the codes that is from the Original Xbox days is no longer valid as they do have expiration dates.

Otherwise it is likely no longer valid.

I know XBL for original Xbox games had been shut down.

What I meant was, if I purchase an original Xbox game through games on demand, would I be able to access the guide and use features like party chat?

Yes, you will. The OG Xbox LIVE has been shut down a while ago. It does not matter from Disc or HDD, there is no OG XBL anymore.

Yes, you can Play OG XBOX Games on the 360. Two Things are recommended:

1. A original XBOX 360 Hard Drive

2. The OG XBOX Game must be BC to the XBOX 360
