Xbox live chat not working

The issue is that my friends cannot hear my voice through chat. It shows my icon lighting up when i talk, so i know it is not my mic. Also I've tried 3 different headsets that all work on my ps4. The point is the system is showing that it is reveiving
input from my mic, but nobody else in the group can hear me. It is clearly some kind of network issue with xbox live. I have made sure im not muted, i i have checked every setting including privacy and online setting. I have tried literally everything suggested
on every other post, updating controller firmware, restarting system, etc. The fact is it must be an issue with the xbox live network totally outside of my control, since it is showing my icon light up when i talk, even my friends can see it indicating there
is voice input. However, my sound is not actually being sent through the system. And evidently i don't get the option to actually contact support for this issue. Im on the verge of just returning my xbox which is only a few months old and just commiting to
playstation the rest of my life. Microsoft is about to lose yet another customer. Ive already spent over 10 hours trying to fix this issue.

Xbox support works with live chats and phone chats, they don't have email support.

Hi,

There currently is a service issue affecting party chat. They're actively working on getting it resolved now. In the meantime I would suggest you keep a look out on the service status page or sign up for a text message to be notified when the issue is resolved

-Please try hard reseting your console (hold the power button on the console for 8-10sec. , and power back up) that seems to help resolve it for some users.

I made the suggested changes to my router. We'll see if this works tonight when my friends are back online. However, I'm a little doubtful since i have tried joining chat through the xbox app on my phone as well through my phone's data and it does the
same thing...icon lights up when i talk but no one hears me

Have ou checked if you have an Open NAT? because a closed or moderate one can give you various issue and chat problems are one of them.

Hi I am running windows 10 and for some reason the chat option on xbox is not working. I am unable to send any of my friends messages or receive any. If i try to send a message the chat box opens but it keeps giving me a loading icon at the bottom of the
console. but I am unable to send a message.

Can anyone help me with this problem please.

It is very possible the ports for Teredo are not working or blocked (My company blocks it from a corporate IT policy). Check this link below and see if it helps.
