Xbox live chat issues

After this new April 2016 update my Xbox live chat has been rendered useless. All because my mic can't broadcast my voice. In other words I can hear but can't be heard. Why can't we uninstall the os update like every other piece of technology so that we
can fix this. Xbox really has slacked off on their quality assurance. And need to work on their response time for issues.

I never got the free month of Gold for MCC

Going to try Live chat with xbox support about the issue now. I'll let you guys know how it goes

Microsoft giving free digital games for users with broken disc drives

I was just told this while chatting with an MS rep about a separate issue: "Every console sent in for repair will have a free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription after the repair. However for those with disc unreadable issue, on top of the free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription, they'll receive a free game token." They will email the code after the replacement XBox has shipped.

It is possible too re-install an update and go to a previous version but the console cannot connect to Xbox live you can try this support link

here. I'd also like to say that the Mic can pick any words you say and isn't based off any language / country settings so it isn't the issue it's either your connection or have a broken microphone

Of course. I wasn't sure if my question would be answered here.

The problem is that I can hear and speak to any random person at times - there are also times that I have to hard restart my console several times in a row to get chat features to work- I am unable to speak to (or hear on occasion) several of my friends.
To be clear, they have never ever heard me speak on the Xbox One. We used to play together all the time on the 360. Whether it's party chat or game chat, it never works.

I've fiddled with NAT settings, Taredo tunneling, and countless other settings, including the ones on the console itself while on support chats with Microsoft. To date nothing has worked.

And I have replaced my headset, and random strangers can occasionally hear me.

I'm sorry you're having issues and you're displeased with the console.

However, can you explain what is actually wrong? Your title just says chat issues, and the e-mail doesn't go into any more depth about what the problem is.

Now I can't connect to live AT ALL!!! Very Upset! It keeps telling me to test my connection, then it says I'm connected then it kicks me. FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
