xbox live changed my gamertag because it was [Mod Removed]???? and now i have to pay 10$ !!!!!!

You do realize your name has to be rated e for everyone right?

And attempting to recreate the same name with the offending words only end very very badly for you as too many forced name changes will result in a perm ban of an account

I am wondering why the xbox team changed my online name because of a offensive name apparently. Why would they change it for you??? Why not force the change of a name when the person logs in??? Now you have to pay $11 for a bloody name change because
xbox decided to change it which is bs tbh, i rather that then getting a [Mod Removed – Profanity] made up bot name

The used to allow you to change your gamertag for free when it was deemed offensive but too many people took advantage if that and changed their gamertag to something just as equally offensive. Due to this they now force change your name to a randomly generated
gamertag and then make you pay to change it again after that.

Unfortunately that was a case of the few ruining it for the many.

You can easily change your Xbox Live gamertag. If your gamertag was created for you during your initial Xbox Live sign-up (meaning, you did not choose your gamertag), you can change the gamertag once for free. Additional Xbox Live gamertag changes cost extra

I'm sorry but can you people stop falsely assuming? It makes you look ignorant. I am not part of a clan, and I am not trying to "exploit the system." [MOD REMOVED] I am not going to spend $10 on a gamertag change. I already spend $60 on every game I buy,
$60 a year for Xbox live and $300 for my Xbox. I don't know who the cheap one here is, the one who always asks for money or the one who is fed up with always paying money. In any case, I want a name chane on my gamertag because even though my name is common
and doesn't seem to be sensitive information, I am not comfortable with having it there. Is there anyway a forced change can be done? I have heard of it happening before. Or, is there any other way, such as transferring my gamertag?
