  1. Xbox Live captures displayed on Xbox One are not updating

I am having an odd issue with my Xbox One X and Xbox Live that just recently started occurring. (I do not know if it began after a system update or not.)

When I upload a screenshot or clip created on my Xbox One X to Xbox Live, the Xbox indicates that the capture was successfully uploaded to Xbox Live. However, when I go to Show All Captures and select Xbox Live, the capture is not shown. Similarly, if I
am on the Xbox Live captures display and delete a capture, I get a message that the capture was deleted, but again, the list of captures saved to Xbox Live does not update to reflect the deletion.

I know that uploads and deletions to Xbox Live from the Xbox One X are actually occurring. I have looked at my Xbox Live captures via the Windows 10 Xbox Companion app and what I see accurately reflects captures uploaded and deleted to Xbox Live from my
    Xbox One X.

This issue is also preventing me from sharing captures to my Activity Feed or Clubs on the Xbox One X, because the captures are not shown when I view Xbox Live captures.

As far as I can determine, it seems that the display of Xbox Live captures is not refreshing on my Xbox One X.

I have restarted the Xbox One X. I have also powered the console down and unplugged power for 3 minutes. Upon restarting the console the problem is still present.

Also, I have the same issue with different user accounts on the same console, so the issue is not specific to my Xbox Live account.

If you have had a similar issue and were able to resolve it, please let me know what you did to correct the issue.

    Thanks,

    DigiDogRob

Help, all my local captures have disappeared.

When viewing the captures, there is the option to choose between local storage and on Xbox Live. If the captures are not on either, then they are most likely gone.

"We’re updating GameDVR (“Captures”) storage policies to help ensure you’ve got access to the Captures that matter most. Starting Monday, October 29, we’ll be doubling the amount of Xbox Live Captures storage offered to all Xbox Live members. With this
change, content previously captured that’s 90 days or older with no views will be automatically deleted and moving forward, content over 30 days with no views will be automatically deleted to ensure we’re helping you store the content that matters most. If
you’ve got favorite Xbox Live Captures you want to keep,
visit this page to learn how
to backup your Captures to a virtual drive or external storage."

    Changes to Capture Behaviour?

Have you changed consoles (eg upgraded to an Xbox One X) or your game capture settings to 4K SDR or HDR? If you selected 4K captures then you now need to manually upload them to Xbox Live. Only 1080p or 720p clips are automatically uploaded to Xbox Live
providing you still have space remaining.

If you want to check if you are near your storage limit on Xbox Live then open Recent Captures and select Show All. There will be a warning if you are near to the limit (not 100% if it displays at 90 or 95%). If you see the warning then select some of the
older clips you no longer want to keep and delete them to free up space on Xbox Live again.

    Good luck!

    Xbox Screenshots and Record Captures

I just recently turned on my Xbox One today to check my system captures. And nothing but one screen capture I took a few days ago just showed up. No game record captures, as well. I think maybe all the screenshots and record captures got deleted by the
new February 2020 update. I highly doubt they expired. The Xbox Live captures are still there, just not the internal ones. I need help!
    I'm sorry bro

    Xbox streaming

o set up your Xbox for streaming on two monitors using an Elgato capture card and an HDMI splitter, you can follow these steps:

    1. Connect Xbox to Elgato Capture Card:
      • Connect your Xbox to the input of your Elgato capture card using an HDMI cable.
      • Connect the output of the Elgato capture card to one of your monitors using another HDMI cable.
    2. Use an HDMI Splitter:
      • Connect the HDMI 1 input of the splitter to the output of the Elgato capture card.
      • Connect one HDMI output of the splitter to your first monitor.
      • Connect the second HDMI output of the splitter to your second monitor.
    3. Set Up the Monitors:
      • On your first monitor, you should be able to see your Xbox gameplay through the Elgato capture card.
      • On your second monitor, you can set it up to display the mirrored output from the HDMI splitter, which will show the same Xbox gameplay.
    4. Configure the Xbox:
      • On your Xbox, go to the Display & Sound settings.
      • Set the Display Mode to Duplicate (if available). This will ensure that the same output is sent to both the Elgato capture card and the HDMI splitter.
      • Adjust the resolution and other display settings to match the capabilities of your monitors.
    5. Configure Capture Software:
      • Open your preferred capture software on your PC (e.g., OBS, XSplit, or the software that came with your Elgato).
      • Make sure the capture software recognizes your Elgato capture card as a video source.
      • Configure the capture software to use the Elgato capture card as the video source for your streaming.
    6. Start Streaming:
      • With everything set up, you can now start streaming or recording your Xbox gameplay. Your Elgato capture card will capture the gameplay, and your monitors will display the output.
By following these steps, you should be able to display your Xbox gameplay on two screens while capturing it with your Elgato capture card for streaming or recording. Please note that the availability of certain settings may vary depending on your Xbox model and capture software, so be sure to consult the respective manuals or documentation for specific details.
