xbox live cant sign in 800705b4

played fine all day yesterday but this mourning would not sign in

 

I've done everything on every forum that has this exact issue, except restarting my hard drive from scratch. No way I'm losing my data if everyone else has the same problem.

 

It's an Xbox Live issue, don't delete your profiles or your data.

Same thing here. Was playing Destiny fine this morning. Went to work, came home and tried to play again but I keep getting the same 800705B4 error. It's telling me that I can't connect to xbox live, but when I try to test my connection, it says I'm connected
and all my online friends pop up. Someone please help!

 

It's not you, it's Xbox Live.

There's no real timetable for a fix in a situation like this. If the attack that caused the outage is still ongoing, they have to ride it out. If it's the result of the DDoS that have caused some server issues, then they'll be back up once they've fixed
the problems. Could be minutes, could be hours, could be more. Since some people are already back online, I'd wager it won't be TOO much longer.

 

well its now 3AM here in TN and ive been fighting this issue for over an hour. any suggestions?

 

As mentioned above, you'll just have to ride it out. Xbox Live will be back up at some point, it's just a case of waiting (unfortunately).

 

xbox live status claims everything is ~up and running~ yet for the last 7 hours i have tried to log on, and its a never ending loop of signing in to xbox live! i have deleted my internet connection details, and re entered them, many many restarts, log outs,
log ins, testing connections!! i know xbox live was hacked today, but c'mon, how long does it take to fix? seriously??? i cant play crap right now, (or all *** day!) how can u say everything is up and running, when clearly it ISNT!!!

delete ur account from the hardrive clear cache and redownload it then sign in to a different account then sign back into the account you want to play on
