your account region and console region must match your actual tegion

Us foreign bases don't count as the us but the host country

If you live I'm japan china or non xbox live countries you cant redeem it

You must change it under my account and change my region and not ot the locale of this website

Also your console too

Im trying to purchase xbox live on my new xbox however Qatar is not on the list of countries that the xbox asked to provide at first start up therefore i cant input my card and make purchases because the region which i was forced to choose was not qatar
(the country that i live)

how can i make online purchases through my xbox?

To redeem digital cards you have to be located in a supported xbox live country. Since Bulgaria is not supported for xbox live, it can't even connect to the xbox live service to attempt to redeem that prepaid card. And if that card was purchased in another
country, even if it did work by some miracle, it would not be usable if it was currency or a digital game.

I gifted my friend Sea of Thieves and he cant redeem the code. We both live in the same country, but its still not letting him redeem the game. Any solutions?

Here is the issue

Xbox regions are not continents but countries

So british codes will not work in france nor will us codes work in canada

Hes goimg to have to post himself the issue since we need the error code

hi me and my friends are livin in the usa. im in california and he's on florida. im changed my xbox country on xbox.com and change my country on account microsoft.com. And i cant use my code error is "This code can't be redeemed. It was purchased in a different region from your account"
