    XBOX LIVE BROKE MY MIC


    so yesterday I was in a party, then out of no where the whole party started to lag connecting.... by everyones mic. then party crashes. so i join back to party.

    I try to talk and my mic doesnt light up, I can hear the other people in the party. I can unmute and mute the mic. my nat is open with 18ms ping 0 packet loss ive hard reset everything 5times. tried a diferent controller same problem. I even tried useing
    my mic on a friends xbox that still allows him to talk. he doesnt have a default mic tho his is a tb headset but it uses the gay adapter.

    I even went out and bought a new mic. still doesnt work. it has to be the xbox itself or the servers

    Unable to send message to friends

    I am currently trying to send a message to my friends in the party (My mic is broken) and it says unable to send message I know Live has been having troubles with servers today but I though that was fixed I reset my xbox and my internet (I am xbox live gold)

    Hello Bugsy,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. We recommend trying out the
    troubleshooter for headset    . Also, check the mic monitoring under Audio in the system tab. Access this like you were going to settings> It is right under settings. If it is all the way to the left, it will barely read what is being said.
