    He has also now been blocked. I have blocked communication with this person and also placed a call into Xbox Live.

    If they blocked you their profile should appear blank and you wouldn't be able to see their friends list or clips. They would appear as offline. If you can see their profile they might just be appearing offline.

    Hello Cassidymorse, by its brief description it seems that there may be something related to the NAT ports on your modem/router, so that consoles can connect to Live servers the following ports need to be open.

    These ports must be open to connect to the Xbox network:

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)
