Xbox live being canceled by game pass

We would like to confirm that the subscription offered for $1 was not
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate which offers both Xbox Live and Xbox Game Pass which would therefore convert
your Xbox Live membership of 4 months into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. If this was the subscription that you purchased, cancelling it would have cancelled the entirety of the subscription left.

i payed for Xbox live for 3 months 1 month ago. i then payed for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate i cancelled the game pass and it cancelled my Xbox Live as well. it shouldn't cancelled the Xbox live as well

If his subscription is Xbox Live Gold, then cancelling the subscription will not affect Fortnite, as he will still be able to play that game online.

If however he has Game Pass or EA Play, then cancelling the subscription will stop him being able to play the games that are included in the subscription.

I did turn off reoccurring payments for ultimate, but is there any way to bring back my year subscription for xbox live?

No becauae is 1year and 1month of xgu which includes gold anyways it's basically 1 dollar upgrade to xgu
