Xbox Live Becoming Free

Hi, I recently saw some stuff about Xbox Live becoming free in the near future and I was wondering what will happen if I still have an unused Xbox Live Gold card. I paid $70 CAD for it. Once Xbox Live becomes free, will I be able to purchase some new subscription
method that Xbox is creating? If not, will I be given credit when I enter the code? Or will the card just not work. If a qualified person could please answer my questions, I would be grateful as I cannot find answers online.

Nothing official has been announced about xbox live becoming free,everything is just rumours at the moment so no one can answer your question i'm afraid.

It´s all rumour but remember that when redeeming your xbox live gold code will automatically convert to certain amount of time of gamepass ultimate.

This is all rumour, there has been no announcement by Microsoft, until there is then all this is just complete rumour mill.

There is the occasional Free Xbox LIVE Weekends but that's it. It's not going to become "free". Rumors are always just rumors.
