Xbox live becoming an headache more then enjoyment

over the past 6 months Xbox live has became an headache to do the simplest tasks. Dropping party's and group chats, apps crash or don't work at all. The purpose of Xbox live was to be able to communicate with friends while playing your favorite games. Now
trying to do that take almost an hour to do and the steps to invite someone or to join are frustratin. I can't enjoy playing my Xbox anymore just for the fact I spend more time trying to connect with my friends then I do actually playing.

okay where to begin.

i bought a new xbox 360 console and downloaded my gamertag, which was fine, however, everytime i sign into my profile a message pops up and says that my account has been suspended until i update payment options.

i signed into my account on the computer and added my new card and changed the payment option. it still will not let me play online games at all, and prompts me to update my payment options everytime i sign into my profile (which is becoming increasingly
frustrating) i still have time left on my membership so its not that i havent paid or something.

On top of that, whenever i try to navigate the web page i get a page that says." uh-oh that shouldnt have happened, it appears you have found a glitch in the system" along with various error codes. if its not that page i get, its a page requesting a code
that has been sent to myh email address to verify my identity..

So basically, im getting terribly annoyed and getting the runaround by a bunch of computers.

any help would be a godsend thankyou.

Hey there Wiskey! If you were suspended for a payment or billing issue, your best bet would be to
contact us via chat or phone and speak to a billing agent directly. They should be able to get you squared away. Let us know how that goes, thanks!

 

I agree with you. The little things are the ones that get me. They are very irritating. Takes away from the fun.

I have to say....I have been playing a lot more on my PS4. I never thought I would say that.......But it is the truth. MS yall better get your *** together because I aint the only one.

 

Yep Legendary is right MS and their live is droping the ball. I get faster speeds when playing ps3 and ps4 over xbox.as of now I will not renew live after 12+ years with them. Also my brothers friends have sold their xbox ones to get ps4 due to MS problems.
People are getting fed up with this crap.

 

I'm sticking the Xbox Live for my 360 but the Ps4 does seem to be quite trouble free. I'm sure the X1 will eventually baby step it's way to being fully functional. My friend and I talk on our cell phones (using a headset) as we play a game sometimes...we've
actually done this for years. If you have a good cell plan like I do, like if you get evenings free, it's a great way to communicate while playing games.

 

It's a shame that I have to keep
support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status as an open tab whenever I'm gaming to see if I'll be able to play with any friends, but been regretting getting an XBone since launch because most of my friends didn't want to go PS4

I agree with your post and I truly feel customer service is lacking. You posted this two hours ago and not one Microsoft rep has added to this post.

I don't think PSN has these problems and I am within my 15 day purchase of the Xbox One. I may just trade for the PS4 and tell them the XBOX One is broke...

 

Im entirely sick of xbox all together there is some sort of problem EVERY DAY!! Iv had xbox since the day it came out the consoles break easy overheat modems and cd players are completely garbage parts constantly failing or burning out. And we pay for this
??!! I personaly can say im not being forced by this company to retire a console ive invested thousands into (btw im on xbox number 4 because thier product is not to parr with a full time gamer)give me one good reason not to trade for a sony they have better
customer service less network issues better graphics. .sony still aims to please while xbox could care less about the gamer they dont care that we pay for a month of hardcore gaming or a year of gaming at a time and continuously have data corruptions and connection
dropouts we are just dollar signs and we as gamers need to make it the point we are in charge....that brings me to my final question....how can xbox screw all of us and noone take a stand????

 

You wont get a reply from a Microsoft rep as they don't read these forums.

As both an xbox live & PSN user if you think that PSN is better then you're in for a big shock.

The minor issues live is having is due to server updates ready for all the windows 10 stuff that's coming

 

Why would you say they don't read these.... they may not respond but they don't provide these forums because it feels good... that being said...its time microsoft pulls its corporate head out and stop releasing faulty updates and lets be honest....your live
status page is less than honest! These are the similar type of issues that have led us to start updating all our home and business computing to Apple!

 

I'd say that because it's true,there's only a couple of forums people from Microsoft read & this isn't one of them.
