  1. Xbox Live Ban - Again Destiny Related I Presume

I'm sure no one from Microsoft will read this or explain anything, as this is the third time I've incurred a ban, it is safe to say I'm now here to speak up. Someone will say that it is my fault or that I'm offensive. Some will say "Support doesn't handle
this, only the Xbox Enforcement does", and yet they are always A) Unreachable and B) Provide no details or evidence as to why someone is banned, even when you submit a rebuttable which is a measly 200-250 characters, something of that sorts. Both times their
attempt at a response is a copy paste of "go read our rules":

"After reviewing your inquiry, we have found the enforcement to be

warranted. For additional information about how to participate on Xbox

Live in a safe and productive way, please visit our Stay Safe page

    (https://enforcement.xbox.com/Home/StaySafe#topic10), the Microsoft

    Services Agreement (Microsoft Services Agreement),

and Microsoft's Code of Conduct Explained for Xbox Live Players

I report people regularly for harassment, quitting early, trolling, feeding, etc. If you are intentionally feeding the other team, inactive, holding an item we need to prevent missions from being completed, I never see anyone penalized for it. All three
of my bans have been during the time I choose to participate in raids, whether I lead or follow in them.

I don't need to review your system I want a system where a child can't pull up to report you for literally nothing, or because their feelings where hurt and I end up not able to use the service that I pay for. At the very least I should be able
to contact people on my Friends list prior to the ban, so it doesn't appear like I'm being rude and ignoring everyone. Sure some of these people are personal friends and I can reach them other ways but I would wager 90% of any given persons Friends List are
people they don't personally know. They can contact me but I can't contact them? Could they possibly make a system where they receive a message stating that I'm banned and know when it will be lift, which would be another helpful system, if they actually cared
about their clients. I've made this suggestion before back in 2016 and yet Microsoft clearly hasn't made any changes. I have people bombard me with Party invites and messages that I can't respond to and guess what it further ruins the reputation of the individual
despite Xbl enforcement stating how they want to make a better community.

Why do I bring this up, I've played a variety of games over my life time. Most end up adding me on their list afterward. Yet all three Bans I've incurred happen during the time I've decided to play Destiny. Voice communication is essential and at the very
least someone has to direct. The first Ban I received:

    Start date: December 15, 2015, 5:00:32 PM

    End date: December 22, 2015, 9:00:32 PM

Was due to a Child who we dragged through the Taken King Raid and taught the fundamentals and finally at the end we gave him multiple opportunities and explained how to do it, the team of which was my regular raid group voted to remove him or find someone
else, the vote was 4 to remove, I didn't vote as Raid leader and I removed him. The NEXT DAY I was banned. The reason? "suspension for harassment of other Xbox Live users, including the abusive use of profanity and homophobic slurs" We simply removed him and
moved on. It was all via Headphone so does Xbl have any proof beside this kids report? No of course not. I have a room full of witnesses, does that matter? Nope. Go ahead Xbl go scan through my messages to that date or the days prior, nothing from me was sent
beside a party invite. Check the Raid logs as to how long we kept that kid trying to help him out. Obviously I'm an abusive person.

Here I am again receiving a ban notification at 10:23am on 7/13/18 with:

    Start date: July 13, 2018, 10:18:09 AM

    End date: July 27, 2018, 2:18:09 PM

Yesterday I played Two Strikes with people not running the burns, inactive, and quitting at the end of the strike. Each was reported as appropriately as Destiny allows - I had to go with Other for a few things. I asked in a frustrated
manner why people weren't using Solar weapons on Solar burn, as it would get us through this faster, via voice coms with no response. Now I'm sitting on a ban because what? I should have quit out of the strike if I didn't like how they were playing? Then I
would get reported for quitting. I should have said nothing instead of make them aware we could be doing this better? What it comes down to is how much Enforcement babies Destiny and how toxic that community is. Is the answer anything I see something I don't
like that I have to quit or leave? Literally I'd get nothing done, my time has a value too and the people inactive are disrespecting that. I actually stopped playing Trials due to how awful people were during Destiny 2 Season 1. So are raids supposed to be
silent now? Should I only have to play with my friends list friends and meet no new people? Is being the raid leader who makes posts and organizes people now just a death sentence for your account? This is all as far as I'm concerned garbage. I've had people
say some awful stuff over Smite, Call of Duty, Battlefield, and more, yet nothing happens to them.

I never post complaints like this, as many people jump to do, but finally I've had enough. I pay for a service and I want equal treatment. I want a system where I'm actually taken seriously with my evidence not just some claim where you clicked three buttons.
I actually had to have 3 people send a video back when I was playing Halo Reach of a guy Flying through the air and claiming to be a Bungie employee in order for him to get suspended. I want Microsoft to explain to me how this one game has had me banned 3
out of 3 times, yet over 8 years of games online the rest hasn't? Xbox Live Enforcement or their Support staff I invite you to try and justify yourself, as I know you won't because like all companies you hide behind your, agreements that you don't actually
    uphold your end of things.

    :)

It is probably related to the stress on the Xbox Live Servers *I presume*.

Xbox is detecting my internet connection but will not connect. Please help!

Are you sure this issue is related to Destiny only? I would check the status of xbox live when this happens to you at
    support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status

If everything is up and running, and this only happens with Destiny, I would suggest (as much as it even pains me to say) a reinstall of Destiny.

    Good luck.

You are right that no one from the enforcement team or Microsoft will respond to this. And no one here can really speculate on why you were banned. But, while yes it's true that anyone can report you, and for any reason really, that's not why you would get
banned. The enforcement team investigates every complaint they receive and will only issue a ban if they determine you have done something to violate the code of conduct. They have access to everything you do or say over Live, so "It
was all via Headphone so does Xbl have any proof beside this kids report?" yes actually they do. You can be reported a million times and not receive a suspension.

  5. I don't believe they investigate every complaint they receive. I've gone through the appropriate steps for some really over the top individuals that I've run into, most with the title "to be avoided" as their reputation and those people continue to run wild
doing as they please. I've even blocked and muted those individuals and had myself match made with them again, something that is supposed to be cut down on once those steps are taken.

Just thought I'd share as per my prior post. I began my ban on 7/13 as it states:

    Start date: July 13, 2018, 10:18:09 AM

    End date: July 27, 2018, 2:18:09 PM

I now have an email for an additional 2 week ban starting:

    Start date: July 16, 2018, 9:39:39 AM

    End date: July 30, 2018, 1:39:39 PM

Here is the clincher, not only have I not had an ability for any communication since the 13th, I've had no Xbox time with the public since that date. I played a game split screen on and off most of Saturday the 14th, I had no play time on Sunday the 15th, and
yet here I am with a new suspension. For doing what? Not playing under the ban. They literally state "suspensions end at about the same time of day they were issued, not at the beginning of the calendar day." People are clearly reporting me for content from
what and when? I've already appealed on the prior one and I know they won't overturn it, they never do. I would love an explanation how I can literally be cut off from the public AND not be playing on Xbox and somehow be violating their ever increasing code
of conduct that says I have no rights.

  6. Your new suspension might be a result of past actions it could be from days, weeks or months ago and an ET agent just investigate it and issue you a new suspension. Just my two cent.
