    XBOX LIVE BACKUP [PC]


    Hello any genius @microsoft to plan any PC backup content for xboxlive system ?

    short version :

    -installing a product from xbox live (pc version - windows 10 10.0.14393 - 8GB ram, R7 gpu etc)

    -moving installed app from system disk to an external harddrive (not attached system)

    -reinstalled windows for maintenance purpose

    -lost apps and no chance to recover it unless downloaded it again

    -the application is not recognized by system

    -no way to run it from new target previously selected (before clean install)

    Any one have a clue about handling XboXLive apps with backup/restore without downloading all each clean installations ?

    Xbox 360 stopped playing music

    Alright for anyone running into my problem this is the solution.

    1. Make a backup of your hard drive then format it on your pc.

    2. Disconnect from live

    3. Go to Setting - System - Storage - Hard drive - games and apps

    4. Delete Xbox Media Player

    5. Put backup back onto hard drive.

    6. Music should work (at least it did for me).

    Also check Xbox Live Status. Last year and sometimes XBL mentions I have no friends when I have a full list. It's usually when there are issues with XBL just like notifications may not work when there are issues. Sometimes our gamercore says 0. I'm sure
    Microsoft puts in place backup records on XBL. Check on xbox.com Xbox 360 and smart glass if your friends are still there. This is why I don't participate in the Preview thingy. I prefer to have the publicly available official Dashboard version than to have
    my console running on a Dashboard BETA. Microsoft announced Windows 10 a few days ago. Who would put that on the primary PC. They say put it on a backup PC. I don't have a backup PC though.

    Thanks for your response. To answer your question, Xbox Live backups saves so you can resume your progress from another device be it Xbox or PC.

    There is no legit way to backup games on a PC. Xbox files are not meant to be seen on a PC or transferred between the two.
