Xbox Live App Microphone Sample Rate

My Logitech G930 microphone no longer works with the xbox live app on Windows 10? It claims my sample rate is too low and advises me to go to the control panel and adjust it under the advanced tab. Tha sample rate is greyed out and I cannot adjust it. I've
been using this microphone with the xbl app for months without issue. Another Windows update and another problem it seems.

    :)

"The sample rate for your microphone isn't supported" Error Please help

When I join any party or start a party of my own in the Xbox App, it gives me this error saying that the sample rate for my microphone isn't supported. Because of this error I cannot hear or talk to anybody in the party. I have changed
the sample rate of my microphone to every option possible and cannot get it to work. The strange thing is that when I change my recording device to the "Stereo Mix" option, which is set to the same sample rate as my actual microphone, the error goes away and
I can hear people in the party, but I cannot talk to them because the "Stereo Mix" option is not an actual microphone that I can use to talk. My microphone works in other communication apps like Discord, but not the Xbox App.

microphone isn't working any more. Only around two or three months ago, it was working just fine. Now, the sample rate isn't supported in the Xbox application. I've tried every sample rate, and none work. My laptop came with the microphone built-in, so I
    can't really change it.

Can anyone help me with this? (By the way, just in case you didn't see: the microphone is built-in, and it's not a HEADSET)

Windows Xbox app, I sound like a robot underwater to my friends in party chat

So I believe the issue has to do with the sample rate. I have tested a Blue Snowball USB microphone and a Razer Kiyo USB webcam mic and both are fine while using the Xbox Game Bar party chat, and they both can be changed to the sample rate that is suggested (48000 Hz (DVD Quality)

So my conclusion is that either the Xbox Game Bar or Xbox App updated and made it so anything that is connected to my PC that has anything other than the 48000 Hz sample rate sounds like garbage... OR Windows updated and removed that sample rate as a selection for some reason from my audio interfaces. I feel like it is probably the former, but I unfortunately just don't remember what I had the sample rates set to prior to this issue. All I know is I never changed a thing other than updated the app and updated Windows with it's regular updates and it suddenly started having this problem.

"The sampling rate for your microphone is not supported" App XBOX on Windows 10

The Steelseries Siberia 350 is an USB headset, which means, it has it's own built in "soundcard" so to speak.

If that soundcard samples the microphone in a sampling rate that is not supported, you will need to check if the headset can be configured for a different sampling rate.

For that however, you will need to
    contact the Steelseries support

    audio issue with xbox apps

Hi Ryley C. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor.

Bluetooth has limited bandwidth. For this reason, when you use the microphone on a pair of Bluetooth headphones, the audio sample rate has to be reduced. This can cause issues in some apps which don't adjust to sample rate changes.

To prevent this, you'll have to use a different microphone.

Select Start > Settings > System > Sound.
In Sound settings, go to Input and in the Choose your input device list, select the microphone or recording device you want to use.

Please reach back if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

"The sample rate for your microphone isn't supported" - Mic already enabled in Privacy Settings

I am able to say "Hey cortana" and cortana opens and works properly. When I go to control panel and perform microphone setup, the microphone works perfectly.

But when I open XboxApp and start party chat, I still get the error "The sample rate for your microphone isn't supported"
Still after all troubleshooting steps done so far, every application that utilizes the microphone has no problem. The only application that has a problem is the XBOX APP when I connect to or start a Party chat.
