    Xbox Live and Skype account mixup


    When I made my Xbox Live account, my mum's Microsoft account was used. When I made my Skype account, I linked my Microsoft account. I see that you cannot unlink Microsoft accounts from Skype accounts. If it is because Microsoft doesn't want Skype and Microsoft
    to be separate, I'm just unlinking my Xbox Live account from that Skype account to link to my Skype account which I also want to unlink. Would it be possible for Microsoft to do this?

    skype won't sign

    My xbox live account email is merged with my skype account.

    the problem is that Skype disabled my account.

    so when trying to use Skype on the xbox one its forcing me to use my xbox live account to sign in to skype.

    which wont work as i have said the skype account is disabled.

    and i see no option to crate another Skype account or change it to use another Skype account.

    i have tried this as i am signed in as another person on the xbox and it lets me create or use another skype account.

    Skype different account

    Hi !

    This new xbox one makes me crazy ... I want to use Skype with my msn/skype account; but its a different adress(mail) than my XBOX LIVE account...

    (i have a xbox live account and a MSN/Skype account)

    So, they decide to not allow people using different account to connect to skype and xbox one in the same time...

    So if i want to use my skype account i need to login to my msn account (which is a another XBOX/MS account) and not use my xbox live account...

    What a joke ...

    Sorry for my english, im french and i'm so pissed off by this unfinished console...

    Email - Account mixup

    It sounds like the email you are recieving mails to is your contact email address. This can, and in most cases, be different to your login , or Microsoft Account, email address.

    So logging in with that email has actually created a new profile specifically for that email address.

    Do you have any other email addresses you use? You can try sign in with them to see if they log into your account.

    Everyone that has an Xbox Live account has a Skype account. It is the same login.

    Hey there One! Unfortunately once a game is redeemed it can not be transferred to another account. I'm sorry for the mixup.

    Nobody (at Microsoft, at least) will ever force you to use Skype, don't worry. Your Xbox LIVE account will not be effected.

    skype won't sign

    Hi!

    What you can do is: sign into your Xbox Live account
    secure.skype.com/.../settings     and unlink that Skype account from it. Afterwards, you will be able to log into Skype on XB1 as a new user or link it to some other existing Skype account.
